The Defeat Suicide Foundation is dedicated to providing hope and help for those struggling with mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, addiction, post traumatic stress (PTS), bi-polar, self-injury, and suicide. The primary focus groups are youth & teens, veterans & active duty military, and first responders. We exist to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into the lives, treatment, & recovery. We aid those seeking healing and restoration from mental illness, trauma, and addiction. We provide resources, educational services, prayer support, online communities, and referrals all over the country.
Message From Our Founder
Welcome! If you’ve found your way here, it’s likely because either you or someone you care about is facing mental health challenges. I know from personal experience how overwhelming and isolating this can feel, but please, hold onto hope. This foundation was born from pain, grief, and struggle, and in my darkest moments, I sought organizations for support. What I found was a divide: some focused solely on medical and pharmaceutical treatments, while others emphasized spiritual well-being, often dismissing the other’s approach.

There is undeniable evidence supporting the value and necessity of medical and pharmaceutical treatments for mental health. Equally, I believe that God’s grace and salvation offer an unparalleled message of hope and healing. But why should we have to choose one over the other? Why can’t both approaches work hand in hand to support those in need?

From this belief, the Defeat Suicide Foundation was created. We integrated one of my core values from the beginning: to love our neighbors as ourselves, one of Jesus final commandments. We don’t judge; instead, we are here to love, support, and introduce you to Jesus, who provides the ultimate hope.

This core value remains steadfast. Because of it, we step into spaces often ignored or shunned by other organizations. We don’t criticize or rebuke based on past deeds, political views, sexual preferences, or any other reason. Our mission is simple: to love.

If you’re seeking resources, help, and the love we offer, I sincerely hope you find it here. Please remember:

You are needed here… you are important… you are valuable… YOU ARE LOVED!"
